[Blurb] The first version was a simple but elegant success, we all knew thought that there was ample room for improvement. The second time around we did just that, trimming up the loose edges and getting busy with the details. The third and forth ones we tried too hard on and things got messy. Our ambition outpaced our patience and capabilities. The fifth one changed what we thought would be possible, opening exciting new pathways and possibilities in the field. The sixth was when some of us began to worry- how advanced could things actually become? Was there a point at which we should stop altogether, or at very least have that discussion. By the seventh version we knew we’d gone too far, crossed boundaries better left alone and opened a door with no way to close it. The Dilemma with the seventh version was one we should’ve seen coming: that we were dumb enough and smart enough to make something smarter than us. [Ryan Nimmo]
